Join us in a walk down Main Street
Denim Day began in 1999 in response to a sexual assault conviction that was overturned due to the tight jeans the victim was wearing. Since then, Denim Day has become an annual opportunity to show support for victims and survivors, and challenge the excuses and misconceptions regarding sexual violence. This year we are asking the community to wear denim and join us in a walk down Main Street in Alturas to show solidarity, and bring awareness to our community.
Walk begins at 2:00 pm on April 27
