New Beginnings

The New Beginnings program is designed to support the healthy growth and development of children from birth through five years of age who are enrolled in participating family child care homes.

Working in partnership with licensed family child care providers, the program helps monitor each child’s developmental progress through regular developmental screenings and observations. Participating providers complete developmental profiles twice each year, allowing families to better understand their child’s growth, celebrate developmental milestones, and identify any areas where additional support or resources may be beneficial.

New Beginnings promotes early learning, healthy development, and strong partnerships between families and child care providers to give every child the best possible start in life.
