Community Connections Center
Building Skills. Creating Connections. Encouraging Independence.
The Community Connections Center (CCC) provides individualized services and support to adults with developmental disabilities, helping each person build skills, increase independence,
participate in their community, and work toward their personal goals.
At the CCC, we believe every individual should have opportunities to learn, grow, make choices, build meaningful relationships, and be an active part of their community. Services are tailored to
each participant’s individual needs, interests, abilities, and goals.

CCC Snack Box Business
One of the Community Connections Center’s hands-on learning opportunities is our Snack Box Business!
Participants help prepare and maintain snack boxes that are placed at participating businesses and locations throughout the community. The project gives participants an opportunity to practice valuable real-world skills in a supportive environment.
Participants may assist with selecting and organizing products, packing snack boxes, tracking inventory, delivering and restocking boxes, collecting and recording payments, and
communicating with participating businesses. Along the way, they practice money management, organization, teamwork, responsibility, and customer service skills.
The Snack Box Business is about much more than selling snacks. It provides participants with an opportunity to learn by doing while developing practical skills that can be used at home, in the community, and in future employment settings.

Want a Snack Box at Your Workplace?
Local businesses and organizations can support the Community Connections Center by hosting a CCC Snack Box at their workplace!
Our participants and staff take care of preparing, delivering, and restocking the snack box, giving participants an opportunity to practice their skills while providing your employees and customers with convenient snacks.
Hosting a snack box is an easy way to support meaningful skill-building opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities while giving back to your local community.
