Food Bank

The TEACH Food Bank provides emergency food assistance to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity throughout Modoc County. Our goal is to help ensure that community members have access to nutritious food during times of need.

Eligible Modoc County residents and eligible transient individuals may receive a 1- to 7-day supply of food, depending on household size and available resources. Eligible households may receive food assistance every other month, in accordance with program guidelines.

To participate in the program, households are required to complete an annual eligibility application. This paperwork only needs to be completed once each year to continue receiving food assistance.

Our staff is committed to treating every individual with dignity, respect, and compassion while connecting families with additional community resources whenever possible.
