CalWORK’s Housing Support Program (HSP)

The CalWORKs Housing Support Program (HSP) helps eligible CalWORKs families who are experiencing homelessness or are at risk of losing their housing achieve greater stability and work toward permanent housing.

Through the program, T.E.A.C.H., Inc. provides individualized housing support and case management to help families overcome barriers and move toward long-term self-sufficiency. Services may include housing navigation, rental assistance, security deposits, utility assistance, moving costs, temporary shelter assistance, and other housing-related supportive services.

Our Housing Support Services team works closely with each family to identify their needs, locate appropriate housing, connect them with community resources, and provide continued support as they work toward safe and stable housing.

Eligibility and referrals for the CalWORKs Housing Support Program are determined through the local County Social Services office.
